The Cutler Brother’s 3rd and final LIVE performance of their 19th summer theatre season “Willy Wonka” the musical will show on the Deer Lodge stage from July 28th to August 13th with Friday and Saturday showings at 7:30 pm and Sunday matinees at 2:00 pm.  “Willy Wonka” is the story by Roald Dahl as seen in the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder and the 2005 remake starring Johnny Depp.

The Cutler Brother’s “Willy Wonka” boasts a cast of 30 strong which makes it one of the largest casts in the theatre company’s history.  Patrick Cutler takes on the wacky and zany role of “Wonka,” a role that has been his dream for quite some time.  “It’s just fun, and off the wall.  Wonka kind of does whatever he likes and his emotions are from A to Z,” said Cutler of playing the title role.

“Willy Wonka” will feature a handful of Cutler Bros.’ favorites but also has a fair share of newbies to the Deer Lodge stage.  Steve Collins will take on the beloved role of “Grandpa Joe.”  Collins has had plenty of experience in front of the camera in shows such as “Yellowstone” and he has performed with the Anaconda Ensemble Theater.  Jonah Tilley, last seen on the Cutler stage as Kevin McCallister in 2021’s “Home Alone,” will play the soft-spoken and compassionate “Charlie Bucket.”  Marquis Dijon Archuleta takes on the “Candy Man” who also serves as the show’s narrator.

“Willy Wonka” is the story of an exceptionally poor family who learns of an unlikely possibility to visit the Wonka Factory that is opening its doors for the first time in years.  All one has to do for entry to the factory tour is find one of five golden tickets spread out among hundreds of millions of Wonka candy bars throughout the world.  The lucky winners will receive the wildest adventure of their lifetime, and “so will the audience,” stated the show’s director Kelly Cutler.

Tickets for “Willy Wonka” the musical are $20 general admission and may be purchased at cutlerbros.com or reserved by calling the Cutler Box Office at (406) 846-4096.  Reservations are highly recommended as the theatre only seats 125.  For questions, directions, or more information visit the website or call the Box Office.
